Career1 is hiring urgently for our client in Automotive Manufacturing located in Stratford, ON currently looking for Logistics Workers and Stamping Department Associates!!!!!!

Your day-to-day: AS A LOGISTICS MEMBER

 Perform all duties in a safe manner
 Operate Lift Trucks and Taggers
 Receive and deliver materials to support production
o Load tagger and chutes with materials for production on schedule
 Report any material shortages or discrepancies
 Rotate stock as per FIFO
 Collect and ship finish goods to customers as scheduled
 Assist in the performance of Chute maintenance
 Inspect and report the safety of equipment, workplace conditions and activities including
all accidents or near miss situations.
 Support flexible work schedules including reporting to work early and staying late as
required to support startup and overtime periods
 Maintain “5S” and TPM Standards in all areas
 Demonstrate an understanding of FIO’s Environmental Policy and participate in programs
that enhance environmental performance. Identify and communicate any potential non-
conformances.
 Demonstrate an understanding of the significant environmental impacts of your work
activities; follow work instructions to ensure positive environmental performance is
sustained. Understand the consequences of delineating from them.
 Demonstrate an understanding of the EPRP (Emergency Preparedness Response Plan).
 Other duties as assigned.

Your day-to-day: AS A STAMPING TEAM MEMBER

1.Participate in shift start and end meetings with Area TL and Support team. Read and
observe role assignment, change points and alerts posted. Sign alerts to acknowledge
awareness.
2. Follow Standardized Work instructions.
3. Perform equipment start-up checks and document results.
4. Inspect and report the safety of equipment, workplace conditions and activities including
all accidents or near miss situations.
5. Demonstrate and actively support safety and PPE standards.
6. Complete all applicable checklists as well as other “off-line” rework as necessary.
7. Isolate suspect or nonconforming product. Assist with sorting/identifying/repairing non-
conforming product, investigating, and repairing root cause of non-conforming product.
8. Complete Stamping Production reports.
9. Complete “5S” tasks and TPM duties as required.
10. Attend Department and Company communication meetings.
11. Support flexible work schedules including reporting to work early and staying late as
required to support startup and overtime periods. Support production on weekends as
required.
12. Demonstrate an understanding of the EPRP (Emergency Preparedness Response Plan).
13. Demonstrate an understanding of FIO’s Environmental Policy and participate in programs
that enhance environmental performance.
14. Identify and communicate any potential non-conformances.
15. Report concern and make suggestions for continual improvement “kaizen”. Participate in
Kaizen implementation activities.
16. Actively seek to complete training in a minimum of 5 roles within the stamping
department.
17. Other duties as assigned.

You bring :

• GED Grade 12 or equivalent.

• Forklift skills (Strongly preferred)

• Must own Safety Boots ( not Safety shoes ) with a Green triangle .

• Previous Industrial Manufacturing PLANT experience required

• Strong manual material handling skills – able to manually lift heavy loads safely (15 kg)

•Self motivated, able to complete tasks in allotted time.

• Safety-conscious

• Reliable CAR
• Experience in operating lift truck and tagger equipment.
